Norimichi Hirakawa (b. 1982) studied at Tama Art University, Department of Information Design. His computer programmed audiovisual installations have been shown at national and international art exhibitions as well as media art festivals and have been awarded a number of prizes. In 2004, he received the Excellence Prize at the 8th Japan Media Arts Festival and won an Award of Distinction at Prix Ars Electronica in 2008. Hirakawa has been involved in a wide range of activities including a concert piece production for Ryoji Ikeda, collaborations with Yoshihide Otomo, Yuki Kimura and Benedict Drew, and participation in the Lexus Art Exhibition at Milan Design week.

Houxo Que aka Questa is a painter based in Tokyo. He started painting in 1999, with a background in graffiti, and has since been working with canvas, live painting and murals. In his major series, titled Day and Night, he often uses floral motifs in luminous installations using fluorescent paint and UV light.
ONISHI Yasuaki

Yasuaki Onishi studied sculpture at University of Tsukuba and Kyoto City University of Arts. During his studies he began to experiment with the potential of light. His works include installations, sculptures, photographs and drawings. In 2005 he received the Jury Recommended Work award at the 9th Japan Media Arts Festival for restriction sight. Other awards and grants followed. Yasuaki Onishi held a stipend from The Pollock-Krasner Foundation, Inc. in 2010.
UKAWA Naohiro

Naohiro Ukawa is the head of the label mom/n/dad productions and a professor at Kyoto University of Art and Design. He describes himself as a “media rapist” and is active in countless creative fields as, among other things, an artist, designer, video director, VJ, author, curator, and club owner. With his work, Ukawa questions the excesses of modern society by crossing boundaries between genres, often transgressing them. With DOMMUNE he established Japan’s first livestream channel as a venue for his very own form of contemporary art. The studio operates from Monday to Thursday from 19:00 to 24:00 (Japanese time).

Ingo Saenger
Ingo Saenger started DJing quite a while ago in the days when good clubnights included a mixture of Hip Hop, Dancehall, House & Breakbeats. He is part of the duo Westpark Unit (with Herb LF), producing tunes with Henry L or Matt Flores and runs the label Farside Records in cooperation with Winni Petersmann (on the rock). From 1995 to 2004 Ingo used to play on german radiostation WDR 1Live and founded the Treibhaus show with Steffen Irlinger. Since 2010 he is back on air with a monthly radioshow on Byte.FM. His DJ residencies include the Taxi Nights@domicil Dortmund.

YUASA Masaaki
After graduating from college, Masaaki Yuasa (b. 1965, Fukuoka Prefecture) joined the animation studio Ajia-do. He later became a freelancer and worked on the Shinchan and the Chibi Maruko-chan series, among others. In 2004, he debuted as a film director with Mind Game, which won the Grand Prize in the Animation Division of the 8th Japan Media Arts Festival, the Noburo Ofuji Award of the 59th Mainichi Film Awards, and others. His other major works include the series Kemonozume (Claws of a Beast, 2006) and Kaiba which was awarded the JMAF Excellence Prize in 2008.
